SYNOPSIS
A contemporary portrait of Flemming Quist Møllers’ life, both as a person, musician and artist.
Through the narrative we meet his work with film, music, theatre, plays, satirical drawings, book illustrations, paintings, script writing; we experience that as a mediator and narrator he is always on the side of the weak, works with the simple, direct and human. We experience his personal story from his childhood home, the travels, the paralysis as a young man, the ornithologist, the Glenø life, the anti-authoritarian, family life and how the ups and downs of his career have affected the course of his life. The film contains clips from his various works, especially the cartoons he is best known for in Denmark, e.g., Egon the bicycle mosquito, Hugo the jungle animal and Benny’s bathtub.
